Quality Assurance
KTD is currently involved in the manufacture of a variety of metal components for a wide spectrum of industries from Automotive Lighting and Domestic Appliances through to Theatre Lighting for the Entertainment Industry.
The list of customers currently supplied by KTD includes some of the world leaders in their field. As would be expected with a customer base of this calibre, many already have or are close to having accreditation to the ISO 9000 series Quality Standards and expect nothing but the highest quality of performance from their suppliers.
Although KTD does not have a formal Quality Management System accreditation, it is committed to not only supplying customers with the best possible product but strives to continually improve quality levels. However, it works to a Quality Management System constructed to the guidelines of ISO 9002, with a view to achieving certification in the future.
KTD works on a Ship to Line basis with all it’s major customers. In some cases, these customers rely on the continuity and quality of supply to keep their production lines and factories operational.
Not only does supply of this nature encompass the area of Quality of components, but also Materials and Distribution Management in addition to the other areas under the broad banner of Total Quality Management.
