Brian Parker – Technical Director
Brian is a Toolmaker by trade with almost 50 years experience in all aspects of Tool, Component and Special Purpose Equipment Design and Manufacture. He also has a solid background in R&D and specialises in and enjoys working closely with our customers design teams on new products. Imagine what your people could do with ready access to that sort of experience and expertise.
Brian’s primary responsibility is the technical areas of KTD including overseeing the tool room and design of the tooling and liaison with customers who are designing components requiring tooling, assembly or technical design assistance. He is ably supported by a team of experienced and qualified toolmakers with considerable experience outside New Zealand, across different fields, lead by Alan Burfoot, KTD's Toolroom Manager
Brian specialises in all aspects of tool design, from small jewellery style tooling to large blank and forming tooling for construction and mining applications. If you have tooling or design questions, Brian or Alan are the people to talk to.
Jon-Brian Parker – Operations Manager
Jon-Brian has been involved with Manufacturing for most of his life. With KTD being a family business, he has been heavily involved with the business since 1986 and involved in running the Manufacturing arm of the business since 1996.
Jon-Brian’s primary area of responsibility is overseeing Purchasing, Production Scheduling, Quality Assurance, Distribution and the business affairs of the company also. Due to the nature and breadth of the work that KTD does, and the basis of its customers, he has a solid knowledge of materials, sourcing and supply chain management.
