KTD can make you any product that needs stamping. That is, it may have holes or cut outs, is formed into or drawn to shape. It doesn’t even need to be metal.
We can also take care of any welding, deburring, plating, powder coating or polishing finishes and assembly you may require. At KTD we work for you to give you what you want.
We regularly run ferrous and non ferrous metals, all grades of stainless steel etc. We’ve even run silver in the past.
Can we make your pressed components?
Yes we probably can, and at a cost competitive price too. We can also take care of managing the headache-y bits of manufacturing and take care of finishing, assembly, packaging and even logistics, which will leave you to focus on servicing your customers and growing your business.
Can we help you with product design?
Yes we can, and use our 40 plus years of industry experience to suggest things that may be done to simplify it and save you money. We can also work with your design team to assist in prototyping and the product development cycle.
Can we design any press tools, assembly jigs or special purpose machines you might need?
Yes we can and will use all the technology, experience and expertise available to give you the best solutions.
How quickly can we do it?
Generally a couple of weeks, but we always do our best to help our customers and work with you. If you need tooling or similar made, that will take a little bit longer, but we’ll work with you to find ways of getting your product to market as quickly as possible
Can we procure exotic materials?
We regularly run a variety of “exotic” materials, spring stainless steel, copper, brass, phosphor bronze, aluminium alloys and extrusions. We can get the materials your products need using our huge network of contacts and suppliers.
